Sir Isaac Newton is one of the most recognizable names in the scientific community. He continues to be known for his innovation and discovery; and his theories are still the corner-stone of modern science. In naming “Newt” after Sir Isaac Newton, we aspire to remain on the forefront of technology – always innovating, always discovering.
The Newt Global apple is an homage to Newton’s most ingenious theory: the Theory of Motion. The apple is stylized with horizontal and vertical lines which correspond to the latitudinal and longitudinal lines on a globe, emphasizing our multi-national presence. The colors are also meaningful: royal blue to represent regal action, and gold to emphasize strength and diversity.
You may have noticed the imagery on our business cards: paper people joining hands and holding briefcases. Paper is so plain and ordinary, yet we can use our imagination and intelligence to turn it into something creative. The people are joined together in a single business pursuit, emphasizing the sense of team-work, collaboration, and strength found at Newt.
