Course Objective:
This course focuses on app development for iOS platform (iPhone, iPad). The candidates will get to experience hands-on development for some of the more commonly used enterprise features provided by the platform. At the end of the course you would be able to independently design, develop, test and publish applications for iPhone and iPad. You will also gain enough basic knowledge to be able to deep-dive into some of the more advanced iOS features.
Topics covered:
Module 1: Introduction, Xcode, UI programming
Module 2: Objective C, View Controllers, P2P Networks (Bluetooth), Mapkit
Module 3: Web Services, SQLite
Module 4: Network Applications exercise
Prerequisites:
1. Knowledge of C/C++, Object Oriented programming concepts, UI development
2. Experience with integrated development environments (Eg: Visual studio/eclipse)
3. Mac systems with Xcode installed (http://developer.apple.com/xcode/)
